Behind the Scenes of a Unista Project

A Tour of the Savonnerie de l’Atlantique Workshop

After several months of research and design, a new project led by Unista is taking shape in the company’s workshops in the Vendée region.Teamsfrom Savonnerie de l’Atlantique recently visited the site to see how work on their future robotic cell is progressing: the first subassemblies have now been put together, and the machine is gradually taking shape.

This visit is part of an approach that Unista has been promoting for several months: each project is developed in close collaboration with
the client, through regular progress meetings that allow us to track the manufacturing process, consult with the technical teams, and see firsthand the work being done in the workshops.

These meetings also provide an opportunity to validate the technical choices made and to prepare for the next stages of the project.

The next step for the Savonnerie team at
l’Atlantique will be the static inspection, a mandatory step before
the dynamic acceptance testing of the machine, better known as
the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

The project is thus moving forward step by step, continuing
the progress made since its launch.
