The KIT CARTONERoffers remarkable integration flexibility. Incoming products are received directly from upstream equipment at appropriate rates. The discharge of finished products and the rejection of non-conforming products are carried out via configurable modular chain conveyors. For management and communication, the machine relies on the PackML standard , ensuring optimized data exchange via OPC-UA with the central line controller. The user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) allows for intuitive control of recipes and production.

Designed for optimal performance and strict industry compliance, the KIT CARTONER incorporates advanced Cognex vision systems for continuous linear tracking as well as for precise inspection of 2D codes and the presence of inserts. Its robust frame is equipped with state-of-the-art safety components, including laser scanners and interlocked doors, all controlled by a dedicated safety PLC to prevent any operator risk. The robotic configuration incorporates three high-performance SCARA robots , ensuring gentle handling and perfect synchronization of tray and case flows.

To accommodate a wide range of applications, the CARTONING MACHINE can be equipped with several standard features and options:

Pass-through Mode : Allows products to be conveyed through the machine at 200 ppm without any packaging operations.

No Receipt Mode : Allows for checkout without issuing a receipt; can be modified directly via the cash register.

Remote Access : Integration of a remote maintenance module to perform rapid diagnostics and remote updates.

Energy Monitoring : Integration of IO-Link and Profinet measurement modules to continuously monitor compressed air and electricity consumption.

FAQ

Our robotic packaging and handling solutions are specifically designed to meet the high-precision and hygiene requirements of the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and home care industries. Our equipment complies with the most stringent industrial and health standards in these sectors.

Absolutely. Although we offer standard machine platforms (such as the PRODUCT DEPAL or the CARTONING MACHINE), their modular robotic architecture provides exceptional flexibility. Format changes are designed to be quick, controlled intuitively via the HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and often require little or no special tooling.

Seamless integration is at the heart of our engineering. Our machines interface seamlessly with your upstream and downstream equipment through the use of open industrial communication standards such as PackML and data exchange via OPC-UA. In addition, we design the feed and discharge zones to accommodate any type of conveyor system (belt, modular chain, magnetic levitation, etc.).

Yes, reliability and safety are paramount. Our frames comply with CE and UL standards. To ensure operator safety, we incorporate state-of-the-art components controlled by dedicated safety controllers (laser scanners, interlocked doors). To ensure product quality, our machines incorporate advanced vision systems (such as Cognex) that provide dynamic tracking, compliance checks (presence of instructions, 2D code reading), and precise sorting.

Absolutely. To ensure maximum total return on investment (TROI) for your production lines, our machines can be equipped with secure remote maintenance modules. This allows our experts to perform rapid diagnostics and remote software updates. We also offer continuous energy monitoring options (via IO-Link and Profinet) to help you anticipate your maintenance needs.

Our production rates are optimized through the integration of high-performance robotic technologies (6-axis articulated robots, SCARA robots). Depending on the applications and products being handled, our equipment offers highly competitive speeds. For example, our PRODUCT DEPAL handles 60 to 120 pieces per minute, while our KIT CARTONER can process 40 pieces per minute in complex case packing and up to 200 pieces per minute in “pass-through” mode.
